Tony Zhao has a strong background in sales and account management. Tony started their career as a Sales Director at Laird Technologies, where they led an international team and drove sales activities in the APAC region. Prior to that, they worked at JDSU/Lumentum as a Global Account Manager, where they managed a tier one account and ensured customer satisfaction. Tony also gained experience at NeoPhotonics, where they served as Deputy Sales Director and later as Sales Director, overseeing revenue growth, market campaigns, and distribution channels in Japan, Korea, and India. Throughout their career, Tony achieved notable successes, such as growing revenue for Huawei from scratch at NeoPhotonics.
Tony Zhao received a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from HKUST Business School between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Microelectronics & Solid-State Electronics from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, between 1991 and 1996. Additionally, Tony Zhao has a certification in Value Selling, which was obtained through internal training.
