Matthew Hill

Joining Laird Norton Company in 2015, Matt Hill is the Director of Corporate Development and Strategy. In this role, he oversees and analyzes the Company’s corporate investments portfolio and asset allocation. He has a variety of assignments, including acquisitions, financing, long-term strategic planning, and portfolio monitoring.

Prior to joining Laird Norton Company, Matt was a Senior Associate in the Valuation Services Group at Grant Thornton, LLP. While there, he conducted valuations for business enterprises, financial securities, and intellectual property across various industry segments.

He received a BBA in finance from Baylor University and an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. He is a member of Seattle’s Association for Corporate Growth and the Seattle Finance Collective.

Matt and his wife Stephanie moved from Dallas, Texas to Seattle in 2015 and, in 2020, they moved to Tacoma, Washington.
