Nick Taylor has a diverse work experience in the wine industry. Nick started their career with Majestic Wine in 2003, where they worked in retail management for three years. Nick then joined Direct Wines in 2006 as a buyer and later became the Buying & Merchandising Director at Lionstone International in 2008. In 2012, they returned to Direct Wines as the Director of Merchandising & Global Planning. In 2016, they were appointed as the Managing Director of Averys Wine Merchants before returning to Direct Wines as the Group Wine Director. In this role, they were responsible for creating and executing business strategies on a global scale, including sustainability, procurement, production, supplier management, and quality control.
