Mike Salemme, MBA

Mike Salemme, MBA has extensive work experience in human resources and business development. Mike is currently employed as the HR Director at Lake Cable, LLC since June 2019. Prior to that, from August 2016 to June 2019, Mike was the Vice President at Richardson Seating Corporation, where they developed HR infrastructure and policies, hired leadership talents, and improved labor relations.

Before joining Richardson Seating Corporation, Mike worked as a Principal Consultant at Nichlyn from March 2016 to September 2017. From December 2012 to November 2015, they served as Group HR Manager at Quad/Graphics, overseeing a team and acting as a Business Partner for logistics.

From August 2011 to December 2012, Mike was the Regional Human Resources Manager at Systemax North American Technology Group, where they managed various HR operations and partnered with legal counsel on employment-related litigation.

Prior to that, they worked as the Director of HR & Business Development at Blue Ink, Inc. from February 2009 to August 2011, where they managed a sales team and established the HR department.

Mike also held the position of Corporate Human Resources Manager at IDEX Corporation from August 2007 to February 2009 and worked as a Retail Manager at The Home Depot from September 2001 to July 2007.

Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated skills in various HR functions, including talent management, training and development, performance management, benefits administration, and employee relations. Mike has also showcased strong business development abilities and success in building relationships with customers, vendors, and regulatory agencies.

Mike Salemme, MBA has a Master of Arts (MA) degree in I/O Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Mike also holds an MBA degree in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications including Integrated Talent Management from the Association for Talent Development (ATD) in December 2021, Weatherhead Executive Coaching Certificate - Coaching for Intentional Development from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in May 2015, EQ Leadership Curriculum Certified Trainer from Six Seconds in January 2015, Lominger Interview Architect: Competency Based Selection from Korn Ferry in December 2008, Lominger Leadership Architect 101: Competency Modeling from Korn Ferry in December 2008, and Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from HRCI in March 2012.
