Alyson Mekinda

Alyson Mekinda is an experienced educator with a Bachelor of Science in Education, specializing in Early Childhood Education and Teaching from The Ohio State University. Currently serving as a Teacher at Riverside Local Schools since July 2022, Alyson has also held teaching positions at Mentor Public Schools and student teaching roles at Upper Arlington City Schools. Concurrently, Alyson has worked at Lake County YMCA as a Day Camp Counselor and previously as a Day Camp Coordinator, overseeing and engaging children in various educational and recreational activities. Additional experience includes roles at the Columbus Museum of Art and Great Lakes Science Center, demonstrating a strong commitment to educational development and student engagement.
