Kevin Tietz

Kevin Tietz has an extensive law enforcement background beginning with the United States Marine Corps from June 2000 to January 2006, serving as a Combat Engineer. Following military service, Kevin held various positions, including Security Officer at Levy Security Corporation, Auxiliary Police Officer at Levy Security Corporation, Correctional Officer at the Village of Rosemont, and Police Officer at McHenry County Sheriff's Office from February 2007 to March 2012. Kevin then served as a Police Detective for the City of Woodstock, Illinois, from March 2012 to January 2016. Since January 2016, Kevin has been with Lake County, holding multiple roles, including Deputy Sheriff, Senior Operator of the Tactical Response Team (TRT), and serving as a U.S. Marshal Fugitive Task Force Officer, focusing on apprehending violent offenders in the Chicagoland area. Kevin pursued studies in Criminal Justice/Police Science at Triton College from 2006 to 2007.
