Amanda Briggs de Lavini

Amanda Briggs de Lavini is an experienced educator and entrepreneur with a robust background in localization and project management. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at both Lake Erie College and Lakeland Community College since August 2021 and August 2022 respectively, Amanda also co-founded Darkroom Brewing Company in January 2019. Previously, Amanda held the position of Executive Director at the Geneva-on-the-Lake Convention and Visitors Bureau from January 2018 to December 2020 and worked at TripAdvisor from August 2012 to May 2016 as a Senior Localization Coordinator. Amanda’s earlier experience includes roles at Lionbridge as both a Senior Project Manager and Project Manager from 2007 to 2012. Amanda holds a Master of Science in Applied Communication with a focus on Technical and Professional Writing from Fitchburg State University and a Bachelor of Science in Spanish Translation from Kent State University.
