Joe Gerics

Joe Gerics, Ed.D., currently serves as the Assistant Principal at Conneaut Area City Schools and a Lecturer at the University of Virginia, in addition to holding adjunct professor positions at Lake Erie College and Liberty University. As President of Treasured Kids, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children in foster care, Joe Gerics actively promotes compassion and encouragement for those in need. With extensive experience in social and emotional learning, including roles as Director of SEL and Manager/Administrator of Social and Emotional Learning, Joe Gerics has also contributed as a certified trainer for SEL implementation and co-authored a resource on rebuilding school communities. Joe Gerics' educational background includes a Doctorate in Education from Liberty University and a Master’s in School Administration from PennWest Edinboro.
