Roger Summerhayes is an experienced educator and instructor with a diverse background in environmental education and the sciences. Currently serving as an Environmental Educator at Lake George Association since October 2022, Roger has also been an Assistant Karate Instructor at Sunsu Dojo since March 2019, holding a 5th Degree Black Belt. Prior to these roles, Roger taught Chemistry and Physical Science at Good Hope Country Day School for 36 years and served as a Chemistry and Physics instructor at Miss Porter's School for one academic year. Early teaching experience includes a position as a Science and Math instructor at Lami High School in the Fiji Islands from January 1979 to December 1980. Roger holds a Master's Degree in Film Production from Stanford University and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Union College.
