Jonathan Hiett

Jonathan Hiett is an experienced educator and mental health professional with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Dean of Counseling and Upper School Associate Director/Dean of Students at Lake Highland Preparatory School since August 2007, Jonathan has held various roles including Upper School Counselor and Associate Dean of College Counseling and Guidance. From January 2010 to May 2019, Jonathan operated J. W. Hiett Counseling & Consulting, LLC, providing individual and couples counseling. Additionally, Jonathan completed a clinical internship at the UCF Marriage and Family Research Institute, where involvement included providing free counseling services and developing a business plan for private practice. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Central Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Florida.
