Lake Michigan College
Dr. Kenneth Flowers is a proud graduate of Lake Michigan College. He spent the first 14 years of his career in manufacturing, starting in the mold-making industry as an apprentice and ultimately finishing as journeyman mold maker and mold designer at Hanson Mold. Since 1997 he has worked at Lake Michigan College in the Career and Workforce Education Division as an adjunct faculty, full time faculty, Department Chair, and the Dean of Career and Workforce Education. Dr. Flowers has been the Interim Provost and Vice President of Academics since 2022. He lives in St. Joseph, MI with wife Misty. Ken and Misty have two children, Austin and Lindsey, and two beautiful granddaughters, Ryatt & Blair.
He has a Ph.D. in Ed Leadership Career & Tech Education, Master of Science in Career & Technical Education & Bachelor of Science in Precision Machining Mgmt.

Lake Michigan College is a two-year community college serving a diverse student population of approximately 5,000 annually. LMC offers associate degrees, certificates, and a baccalaureate degree. Three southwest Michigan campuses are located in Benton Harbor, Niles and South Haven with an additional location in Allegan.
