Mary Stine

Senior Vice President, C&i Credit Officer at Lakeland Bank

Mary Stine has extensive experience in the banking industry, spanning over three decades. Mary began their career in 1987 at United Jersey Bank, where they joined the commercial credit training program. Throughout their time at United Jersey Bank, they worked as an analyst and manager in the credit underwriting team before transitioning to a credit risk position. Eventually, they became a commercial lender. United Jersey Bank was later acquired by Summit Bank, which was subsequently acquired by Fleet Bank, now known as Bank of America. In 2001, Mary joined PNC as a VP Credit Risk and worked in this role until 2011. Mary then moved to Provident Bank, where they served as Senior Vice President and Director of Commercial Credit Underwriting for nearly a decade, from 2011 to 2020. Currently, Mary holds the position of Senior Vice President and C&I Credit Officer at Lakeland Bank, a role they started in June 2020.

Mary Stine obtained a Master's Degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from the ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 2015 to 2017. During the same period, they also completed a Leadership Program in Banking and Financial Support Services at The Wharton School. Earlier in their education, from 1981 to 1985, Mary obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and Accounting from Seton Hall University.
