Sonia Castaneda

Sonia Castaneda has a diverse work experience in the field of data architecture, management, and analysis. Sonia started their career at Allstate as a Systems Programmer and Software Support Analyst, providing technical support for mainframe software products and customized vendor products. Sonia then joined AIG as a Senior Programmer/Analyst, where they worked on actuarial data systems and produced reserve study runoffs and loss development triangles. At Starr Insurance Companies, Sonia served as a Business Intelligence Analyst and later as a Data Analyst Manager, participating in reporting projects and implementing monthly processing tasks for data loading. Sonia then worked at Nitto Inc. as an MDM Architect and IT Manager, focusing on data management and architecture. Currently, Sonia is serving as the VP of Data Architecture and Data Quality at Lakeland Bank.

Sonia Castaneda completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at Northern Illinois University from 1995 to 2000. Later, from 2011 to 2012, they pursued a Masters degree in Information Systems at Pace University. Additionally, Sonia obtained an Executive Leadership Certificate in an undisclosed timeframe from Cornell University.
