April Novotny PhD, RN has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, currently serving as Chief Nurse Executive and Vice President of Clinical Services at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida since June 2001. Previous roles include Associate Vice President of Patient and Family Experience and Director of Emergency Services. April began a career in nursing at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, where positions included Registered Nurse and Manager from June 1998 to June 2001. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Organizational Leadership from Southeastern University, a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Florida State University, and ongoing studies for a Master of Science in Nursing at the University of South Florida.
