George Eighmy has a strong background in healthcare finance, holding various leadership roles throughout their career. George is currently serving as the Associate Vice President of Finance at Lakeland Regional Health-Florida. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Financial Operations at Bassett Healthcare Network from 2019 to 2021. From 2016 to 2019, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital. George also served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Bristol Hospital from 2011 to 2016. George started their career as an Administrative Director of Finance at Waterbury Hospital from 2000 to 2008 and then moved on to become the Administrative Director of Finance at Orange Regional Medical Center from 2008 to 2011. George began their finance career at Hospital of Saint Raphael in 1993 as the Director of Financial Planning, a role they held until 2000.

George Eighmy obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Quinnipiac University - School of Business in 1992. George later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Marist College, completing the program in 2015.
