Jim Smith

Jim Smith is currently working as the Deputy Fire Chief at the Town of Hinton and as a firefighter at Saracen Fire Rescue, specializing in wildland firefighting. Jim also serves as an instructor for NFPA 1001 courses at TrainingDivision.com in Texas and an adjunct instructor at Lakeland College. Jim has held various leadership roles in firefighting and emergency services, including Fire Chief at Municipality of Brighton, District Fire Chief at Rocky View County, and Vice President at Cimarron Common Condo Association. With a background in fire science and firefighting, Jim has extensive experience in administration, budgeting, counseling, personnel assessments, operations, prevention, training, and public speaking.
