Steve Alger has over 20 years of work experience in various financial roles. Steve started their career as an Audit Manager at KPMG in 1991 and worked there until 1996. Steve then joined GE Interlogix as a Plant Controller and held this position for six years before moving on to Eaton Hydraulics as an Accounting Manager for their Spencer, Iowa Plant. In 2004, they became the Corporate Controller at Pure Fishing and remained in this role for four years. Steve then became the CFO at Community Housing Initiatives for one year before moving to their current position as the CFO at Lakes Regional Healthcare, where they have been since 2009.
Steve Alger earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa between 1989 and 1991. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance at the University of St. Thomas from 1996 to 2000.
