Christine Marumoto has had extensive experience in the field of digital product management and design. Christine started their career as a Graphic Designer for the Society of Multidisciplinary Artists in 1994 and worked there until 1998. In 1998, they joined Lakeshore Learning Materials as a Graphic Designer and later moved on to become the Web Design Manager, where they played a key role in designing and maintaining the company's websites and implementing e-commerce platforms. Christine then served as an Interface Designer & Business Analyst, working on various business solutions for Lakeshore's websites and homegrown systems. In 2014, they took on the role of Lead Business Analyst, leading a team responsible for the design and implementation of business solutions, including the implementation of Oracle Commerce. Most recently, they served as the Digital Product Director, leading a team of product managers and overseeing the customer experience and business solutions for Lakeshore's B2C and B2B sites, as well as a new mobile app. Throughout their career, Christine has demonstrated their expertise in research, analysis, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Christine Marumoto pursued their education at Otis College of Art and Design from 1988 to 1993, earning a BFA degree in Communication Design. Prior to that, from 1988 to 1991, they attended Whittier College and obtained a BA degree in Applied Art.
