Karen Kahn

Karen Kahn has over 17 years of work experience in various roles within the education industry. Karen is currently the Senior Director of Inside Sales at Lakeshore Learning Materials. Prior to this, they worked at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) as a Director of Sales and Market Manager in inside sales. Karen also held positions at Climatec, LLC as a Business Development Manager, Education, and at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt as an Account Executive. Karen has a strong track record of achieving sales targets and has received numerous awards for outstanding sales achievements. Karen also has experience in teaching and mentoring graduate-level students as an Adjunct Professor at Grand Canyon University. Overall, Karen has a diverse range of skills and experiences in the education sector.

Karen Kahn received a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed., B.Psy) degree with a focus on Elementary Education and Teaching and Psychology from Universidad Centroamericana José Simeón Cañas in the period from 1990 to 1993. Karen also earned a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Diversified Learning from the University of Phoenix from 1994 to 1996. In terms of additional certifications, Karen obtained an Excellence in Leadership certification from the Disney Institute in 2019 and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) certification from the International Six Sigma Institute™ in 2013. Karen is currently pursuing certifications in Change Management, Executive Leadership, and Performance Leadership from Cornell University, with an expected completion year of 2022.
