Susan Deleon

Susan DeLeon is a versatile performing artist and experienced educator currently serving as a Standardized Patient at UC San Diego School of Medicine since June 2024. With a rich background in theater, Susan has been an Actor and Teaching Artist for Lakeside Union School District since February 2020. As a former business owner of S.D. Studios from May 2004 to June 2024, Susan provided vocal coaching and audition preparation services. Highlights of Susan's performance career include a headlining role in Menopause, The Musical (November 2022 - May 2023) and serving as a Resident Director at The Barn Stage Company (2014 - 2018). Additional teaching roles include serving as an Adjunct Faculty member at Grossmont College and as a Graduate Student-Instructor at San Diego State University, where Susan earned a Masters of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre.
