Amina Isa

Amina Isa's work experience begins with their current role as the Managing Director and Founder of Lala's Lagos Ltd and Lala's Bistro, located in Victoria Island, Lagos. Amina started this position in May 2022.

Prior to this, Amina worked as an Account Associate at Waltersmith Petroman Oil Limited, starting in November 2021.

From July 2020, they served as the Creative Director at Koy & Victoria.

Before that, Amina was the Video Production Manager at Big Cabal Media from January 2021 to June 2021.

In 2018, they worked as a Video Production Assistant at FabFitFun from September to December.

Amina's earlier experiences include working as a Video Production Intern at Topple Productions from March to July 2017.

In 2014, they had a marketing internship at New Films International, where they gained experience in various tasks such as organizing film screenings, handling client and administrative duties, and contributing to meetings.

Lastly, Amina worked as the Cinemas & Promotions Liaison at University Union, Syracuse, from May 2013 to May 2014, where they played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of both the cinemas and promotions divisions, as well as managing social media and public relations for the department.

Amina Isa holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Cinematography and Film/Video Production from the University of Southern California, which they obtained from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, where they studied from 2011 to 2015. Amina also has a High School Diploma from Grange School in Lagos, Nigeria, which they earned from 2000 to 2008.
