Chuck Wigger

Chuck Wigger has an extensive background in safety and risk management, currently serving as Vice President of Safety and Risk Management and Corporate Safety Director at Lamar Advertising Company since April 2000. Responsibilities encompass overseeing the safety of 3,000 employees across 46 states, Canada, and Puerto Rico, with a focus on employee safety, crane and rigging, electrical safety, worker's compensation, and risk management. Previously, Chuck held the position of Operations Manager at Lamar, managing multiple field crews, a capital expenditure budget, and maintenance of outdoor advertising assets. Earlier experience includes serving as a Staff Accountant at Gaither Rutherford & Company, LLC, where tax returns and payroll records were prepared, and participation in the construction audit team. Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern Indiana, earned between 1993 and 1998.
