Pedro Chapa

Pedro Chapa has extensive experience in education and human resources, currently serving as the Director of Human Resources Services - Operations at Lamar Consolidated ISD since June 2015. Prior to this role, Pedro was a Bilingual Teacher Recruiter at Houston ISD, contributing to staffing efforts aimed at ensuring effective educators in the classroom. Pedro also served as a 4th grade Bilingual Teacher and Grade Chair at Houston ISD, leading a team in lesson planning and curriculum implementation. This educational journey began with a commitment to teaching as a Bilingual Teacher with Teach For America. Early military service in the United States Marine Corps included supervision and management in aviation supply, culminating in an honorable discharge. Pedro Chapa holds a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University and further pursued studies at the University of Saint Thomas.
