Matthew Pace

Matthew Pace currently serves as the Director of Operations for Men's Basketball at Lamar University, a position held since June 2014. In this role, Matthew acts as the academic liaison for the basketball program, manages equipment orders for the season, coordinates class schedules, directs the basketball summer camp, oversees film exchange, and supervises team managers. Prior to this role, Matthew was the Head Basketball Coach and a Government teacher at Sabine Pass ISD from August 2013 to June 2014, where responsibilities included scouting opposing teams and managing practices for a large team. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Lamar University, completed in 2012, and possesses certifications in Texas for teaching Composite Social Studies and Physical Education.
