Antonio Simões

Antonio Simões is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in project management and site supervision across various infrastructure projects. Currently serving as Lead Consultant at Laminar Projects since April 2023, Antonio provides technical support in engineering and construction management. Previously at Balfour Beatty plc from January 2016 to March 2023, Antonio excelled in several roles, including Site Agent for the HS2 Bromford Tunnel and as West Bound Manager for the M4 Smart Motorway project, showcasing expertise in foundation works and site decommissioning processes. Earlier experience includes project management roles at Razel Bec Fayat and Cooperativa Muratori e Cementisti di Ravenna, along with engineering positions focused on road rehabilitation and infrastructure development. Antonio holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and participated in an Erasmus program at Ljubljana University.
