Tony Wright joined Lamprell in January 2013 as Vice-President, Finance and in November 2014 he stepped into the role of Deputy CFO, followed by a promotion to Chief Financial Officer in August 2015. Tony is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Certified Accountants with over 20 years of experience working in the energy and construction industries. From 2010 he worked with Leighton Holdings Group in Malaysia and the UAE, and thereafter with the Habtoor Leighton Group. Prior to joining Leighton, he spent five years as Group CFO with Dubai-based oilfield EPC firm, Global Process Systems. When in the UK, Tony held senior finance positions with Input/Output Inc. and the Expro Group.

Sabih Laham joined Lamprell in 2012 and has over 38 years of technical, project execution and management experience in EPCI oil & gas and renewable energy projects. Prior to joining Lamprell, Sabih worked in several international locations for organisations specialising in the offshore energy, defence and nuclear sectors including McDermott, Petrofac, British Energy, ABS Consulting and NPCC. Sabih is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and has a BSc (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering, an MSc in Structural Engineering, and a PhD in Fracture Mechanics applications relating to offshore platforms from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST).

Peter Ireton is the Vice President of Business Development at [Lamprell](/org/lamprell-plc). Peter has over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with a focus on business development and sales.

 Ireton started their career at KBR in 1996, where they spent 11 years as the Director of Eurasia Sales. In 2007, they joined Wood Group as the Managing Director for Middle East, Eurasia, and Africa Production Services. Peter was responsible for the P&L for an oil and gas engineering, operations, and maintenance business with an annual turnover of $70MM.

In 2010, Ireton left Wood Group to join [Petrofac](/org/petrofac) as the Vice President of Business Development. Peter was responsible for sales and marketing for onshore, offshore, operations and maintenance, and engineering services in Africa (North and Sub-Saharan). Peter remained in this role until 2017, when they joined [Lamprell](/org/lamprell-plc) as the VP of Business Development.

Peter Ireton studied chemical engineering with management economics at the [University of Bradford](/org/university-of-bradford). Peter then worked as an engineer for a few years before becoming a manager at a chemical engineering company.

Peter Ireton works with Massimo Bettolini - VP, Projects, Alex Ridout - General Counsel & Company Secretary, and Sabih Laham - VP, Engineering. Their manager is Christopher McDonald, CEO.

Alex Ridout is the current General Counsel & Company Secretary at [Lamprell](/org/lamprell-plc). Alex was previously with Dragon Oil from April 2006 to October 2012 where they served as Head of legal and company secretarial matters. Prior to that, they were with [Baker Hughes](/org/baker-hughes) from March 2002 to April 2006 as Legal Counsel for the Middle East Region. Alex started their career with AIZ solicitors in September 1999 as an Assistant Solicitor.

Alex Ridout attended Woodbridge School before going on to study Law with French at the [University of Leicester](/org/university-of-leicester). They then completed their LLB at the same institution.

Alex Ridout works with Peter Ireton - VP, Business Development, Richard Taylor - VP, Operations, and Shallet Bhujbal - Human Resources Director. Alex Ridout reports to Christopher McDonald, CEO.

Shallet Bhujbal has almost 20 years of experience in Human Resources in the Middle East; of which 15 years have been spent with Lamprell. Shallet has experience in establishing an entire human resources function and developing the appropriate policies and procedures for that organization. Shallet is also particularly well versed with both onshore and offshore working practices. Prior to joining Lamprell, she worked for a UAE-based service provider in the oil & gas sector supporting their international operations including Azerbaijan, Bangladesh as well as offshore UAE. Shallet has a Master of Business Administration from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Business School.

Shallet Bhujbal

Christopher McDonald has nearly 30 years of experience in the energy industry. Before joining Lamprell, he held the position of Executive Vice President with Petrofac. From 2007 to 2010, Christopher co-founded and helped to run a boutique private equity firm in London. Prior to that, he spent 18 years with Halliburton/KBR, starting his career in engineering and then a sales function before becoming Vice President with responsibility for the KBR Development Co. and the KBR/JGC gas alliance, during which time he served on the board of MW Kellogg Ltd. Christopher has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University.

Christopher McDonald

Richard Taylor has 20 years’ experience in the renewables and oil & gas sectors, with extensive expertise in operations and execution including the delivery of complex offshore fabrication projects. His early career was spent in the North Sea oil & gas environment specialising in construction, production and operations management. Since then he has worked for several major, international onshore and offshore EPCI players, initially working with [Lamprell](/org/lamprell-plc) in 2011. Following a brief period away, he returned in 2017 ultimately running production and now taking on overall responsibility for the Group’s operations.

Richard has a Higher National Certificate in Manufacturing Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Richard Taylor

Massimo Bettolini has almost 25 years’ experience which was gained predominantly in the oil & gas sector and most recently in renewables. Prior to joining [Lamprell](/org/lamprell-plc), Massimo worked for [Saipem](/org/saipem-spa) organisation for over twenty years where he held a variety of senior management roles initially within engineering and then moving over to project management and business development. He has worked on an array of high profile EPCI projects in locations including the UK, Italy, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, India, Brazil and Angola. Massimo brings a wealth of knowledge to the organisation, also having many years of experience working on mega FPSO and Saudi Aramco LTA related projects.

Massimo has a Master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering.
