Professor Arvinder S. Chawla

Professor (Dr) Arvinder S. Chawla serves as a Visiting/Adjunct Professor at The University of the South Pacific since January 2012 and is the Director General for Education at the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, a position held since March 2025. Currently, Professor Chawla holds the role of Vice Chancellor at Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab since June 2023 and previously served as a Consultant for Planning and Development at Maharaja Ranjit Singh Punjab Technical University from September 2022 to May 2023. With a significant tenure as Vice Chancellor/President at RIMT University (April 2017 - September 2021) and extensive experience at Punjabi University in various leadership roles from July 1998 to March 2017, Professor Chawla has also contributed as an Adjunct Professor at Wilkes University and held key positions at the University of Rwanda. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Institutional Finance from Punjabi University and advanced studies at Harvard University, among other degrees in Finance and Accounting.
