Currently serving as a Council Member for Lancaster County, SC Government and Chief Operating Officer at Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont, Jose leads initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and market expansion. Previous positions include Vice President roles at Forestar Group Inc., American Homes 4 Rent, PulteGroup, and Family Dollar, where Jose focused on land acquisition, development strategies, and real estate transactions. Jose's legal expertise was honed at esteemed law firms and through a dedicated law practice, specializing in commercial real estate and complex lending transactions. Jose earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law and holds a BA in English from Florida State University.
