Dr. Faith Ann Cheek

Dr. Faith Ann Cheek has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Dr. Faith Ann currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Lancaster ISD. Prior to this, they held the position of Executive Director of Budget & Finance at Mesquite Independent School District. Dr. Faith Ann also briefly worked as an Assistant Superintendent at PECOS-BARSTOW-TOYAH ISD. Dr. Cheek gained significant experience as an Assistant Superintendent at Bonham ISD. Their earlier career includes roles as the Director of Charter Schools and School Principal at The School District of Palm Beach County.

Dr. Faith Ann Cheek's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Baylor University - Hankamer School of Business, obtained from 2021 to 2023. Dr. Faith Ann also holds a Doctorate of Education in Leadership Management and Policy from Seton Hall University, earned between 2009 and 2011. Dr. Cheek holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational Leadership from Barry University, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English from Eastern Connecticut State University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Leadership Training and Coaching from the John Maxwell Team, as well as in School Business Administration from the Texas Association of School Business Officials. Dr. Faith Ann is also a certified School Superintendent by the Texas Education Agency.
