Heiser Shields

Heiser Shields, M. Ed, currently serves as a Science Teacher at Lancaster ISD since August 2023. With extensive experience in coaching, Shields has been an Assistant Coach for the Dallas Cowboys, Offense-Defense Football Camps, and Sports International since 2009, 2011, and 2007 respectively. As a Football Coach for Under Armour since December 2016, Shields participated in the Under Armour 2017 game. Previous roles include Special Education Coordinator and CTE/Health/PE Teacher at Trinity Leadership Public School from February 2021 to August 2023, as well as Special Education Teacher at Texans Can Academies and DeSoto Independent School District. Shields holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Prairie View A&M University, earned in 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from the same institution, obtained in 2002.
