John Hardy

John Hardy is a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Materials Chemistry at Lancaster University since August 2015, leading a team focused on the design and characterization of materials for biomedical applications, particularly for controlled drug delivery systems. Prior experience includes roles as an Industrial Research Fellow at Queen's University Belfast, Postdoctoral Research Associate positions at the University of Florida and the University of Texas at Austin, and research experiences at several prestigious institutions such as Tufts University and the Max-Planck Institute for Colloids and Interfaces. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Chemistry from the University of York and a Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice from Lancaster University.
