Ofentse Nkhoma

Ofentse Nkhoma is a Cytogenetics Medical Technologist at Lancet Laboratories since January 2021, specializing in the planting and harvesting of peripheral blood samples and conducting microscopic analyses to diagnose congenital chromosomal abnormalities. Prior experience includes an internship at NHLS from February 2019 to January 2020, focusing on the processing and analysis of various samples using conventional karyotyping, FISH, and QF-PCR. Ofentse Nkhoma also served as an inspirational student at the National Health Laboratory Service in early 2018, gaining exposure to multiple departments such as Chemical, Microbiology, Haematology, and Cytology. Academic qualifications include a National Diploma in Biomedical Technology and a Bachelor of Health Science in Medical Laboratory Science from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
