Andrew Grimshaw

Chief Software Architect at Lancium Technologies

Andrew Grimshaw is currently the President of Lancium Compute at Lancium, where Andrew oversees the initiative to reduce the carbon footprint of high performance computing using renewable energy. With extensive experience in the field, Grimshaw is also a Professor at the University of Virginia, where Andrew teaches various courses and leads multiple projects. Furthermore, Andrew is the Co-founder and former CTO of Avaki, as well as a former VP of Engineering at Software Products International. Grimshaw holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BA in Economics and Political Science from UC San Diego.
