Kursten Hedgis

Kursten Hedgis has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Kursten is currently serving as the Operations Manager and Director of Education at Land of Verse, where they manage daily operations, collaborates with stakeholders, and implements strategies to increase email engagement and sales. Previously, they worked as the Education and Marketing Manager at Scarlet Sage Herb Co., where they managed online community programs, collaborated with an international team, and developed and launched new subscription services and quiz apps. Before that, Kursten was the Program Manager at Modern Mystic Shop, where they led problem-solving sessions, implemented community outreach programs, and managed store operations. Kursten also has experience as an Operations Manager at Sun Chiropractic Clinic, a Business Office Specialist at Amedisys, an At Home Apple Care Advisor at Apple, and has worked in various administrative and customer service roles.

Kursten Hedgis has a diverse educational background. In 2021, they completed a 300-hour Apprenticeship Program in Herbalism/Herbalist at the School of Traditional Healing Arts. Prior to that, in 2019, Kursten obtained a Foundations Certification in Herbalism/Herbalist from the Botanologos School of Herbal Studies.

Before pursuing herbalism, Kursten studied Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis at Georgia State University from 2013 to 2015, earning a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Their educational journey began at Georgia Highlands College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Communications, spanning from 2009 to 2012.
