Ali Scarlet is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in project management, team leadership, and volunteer support. Currently serving as Group & Volunteer Support for Land Search and Rescue New Zealand, Ali assists volunteers in Canterbury to aid those who are lost, missing, or injured. Previously, as a Business Owner at Refresh Renovations, Ali managed comprehensive renovation projects while ensuring budget adherence and efficiency. Ali's notable tenure at PlaceMakers included roles as Account Manager, Branch Manager, and Retail Manager, focusing on team development and sales growth. Additional experience as Brand Manager at Southern Approach involved product placement for various outdoor brands. Ali holds a BA and BCom in French and International Business from the University of Otago.

New Zealand Land Search and Rescue Incorporated (LandSAR) was established as an incorporated society in 1994. Our volunteers operate in suburban, urban, wilderness and rural areas including regional and forest parks, shorelines and caves. Our unpaid professionals offer their specialist search and rescue skills free to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the New Zealand Police and the Rescue Coordination Centre.
