Daniel Manzano

Daniel Manzano is an experienced professional in technical rescue and safety training with extensive involvement in various organizations since 2012. Currently serving as Regional Director at Rescue 3 New Zealand since December 2018, Daniel oversees the development and accreditation of technical rescue training programs. In addition to this role, Daniel functions as a SAR Tutor for Land Search and Rescue New Zealand, delivering essential safety courses for volunteers, and works as a Contractor Trainer for Vertical Horizonz New Zealand, focusing on health and safety training solutions. Daniel's career also includes a position as Water & Rope Rescue Instructor at Rescue 3 International and previous roles such as Manager of the Water Rescue Program at SARINZ and Project Manager at Height Safety Eng. New Zealand Land Search and Rescue Incorporated (LandSAR) was established as an incorporated society in 1994. Our volunteers operate in suburban, urban, wilderness and rural areas including regional and forest parks, shorelines and caves. Our unpaid professionals offer their specialist search and rescue skills free to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the New Zealand Police and the Rescue Coordination Centre.
