Zvatapiwa Moyo

Zvatapiwa Moyo is an experienced Engineering Surveyor currently working at Land Surveys since May 2023, focusing on projects at the RioTinto Western Range Iron Ore Mine. Responsibilities include mine control establishment surveys, setting out surveys, machine control for earthworks, and UAV activities. Prior experience includes roles at African Consulting Surveyors, Central Surveys, and Hydrocraft Projects Africa, where duties encompassed mobile scanning, topographic surveys, and consultancy services. Zvatapiwa has also worked internationally at PMK Group UAE, performing tasks related to laser scanning, aerial control mapping, and utility mapping. Earlier positions included a role with the Government of Zimbabwe Ministry of Transport, focusing on road designs, and an internship at Baikie Associates, where data collection and survey record management were key duties. Zvatapiwa holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Surveying and Geomatics from Midlands State University.
