Dan Park

Dan Park has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dan is currently the Head of Brand & Communications at Manaaki Whenua - Landcare Research, a Crown Research Institute in New Zealand. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing communications and branding across multiple sites. Prior to this, Dan worked as a Communications Manager at Manaaki Whenua, where they handled internal and external communications, including media liaison and reputation management. Before joining Manaaki Whenua, they were a Communications Consultant at Pegasus Health. Dan also held various communications roles at Canterbury District Health Board, Environment Canterbury, The New Zealand Institute for Plant & Food Research Ltd, Miriam Stoppard Lifetime, Profile Pursuit Ltd, The Lancet, and Landscape Promotions. Dan has been recognized for their work, including winning awards for campaigns and receiving commendations.

Dan Park obtained their Master of Arts degree in Geography from the University of Oxford from 1988 to 1991. Later, they pursued further academic development at The University of Edinburgh, where they earned a MSc by Research in Geography from 1995 to 1996.
