Abdul Hamid Rhametalla

Abdul Hamid Rhametalla has extensive experience in providing technical assistance and leading programmes focused on food security, rural development, and community-driven initiatives in Sudan. Currently serving as the Team Leader for the European Union Delegation for Cooperation in Sudan, Rhametalla ensures the effective implementation of EU development cooperation projects. Previous roles include Chief Technical Advisor for the Special Fund for Sudan and various senior expert positions with the World Food Programme and FAO, where Rhametalla contributed to evaluations and assessments aimed at enhancing food security and livelihoods. Rhametalla holds a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension from the University of Reading and a Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Economics from Zagazig University.
