Rachel McMonagle

Rachel McMonagle is an experienced professional specializing in climate change and land tenure. Currently serving as Program Director for Climate Change at Landesa since July 2020, Rachel previously held roles including Program Manager for Climate, Health, & Equity at the American Public Health Association and Director of Citizen Science at Earth Day Network. Academic contributions include serving as a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Yale University, where courses taught encompassed Environmental Politics & Law, Understanding & Building Resilience in the Developing World, and Foundations of Agriculture & the Environment. Additional experience encompasses positions with the International Fund for Agricultural Development, the US Environmental Protection Agency, and the Fulbright Program in Ukraine. Rachel holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies & Economics from Oberlin College.
