Thomas Whitehouse

Thomas Whitehouse has a diverse work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Thomas worked at Landis+Gyr as Head Hardware Electronic Global Practice Team, where they were responsible for design guidelines, review criteria, and global harmonization of eCAD systems. Thomas also served as the Director of Hardware Engineering, RF Platforms & Architecture, overseeing the development of communication reference designs and managing a team of 8 hardware developers. Thomas also held the position of Director Hardware Engineering, Global Consulting Communications Hardware Engineer, DFSS Black Belt, where they supported management of product cost targets and project delays. Prior to their role at Landis+Gyr, Thomas worked at Motorola as a Senior Manager, overseeing cable TV receiver design and development. Thomas also worked at Scientific Atlanta as a Sr Staff Engineer, focusing on developing cable TV head-end equipment.

Thomas Whitehouse earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from Georgia State University, where they attended from 1983 to 1991. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Electronics Technology from Macon Area Tech, which they completed from 1976 to 1978. Additionally, Thomas holds certifications such as an Instrument Rated Private Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration (obtained in an unknown month of 2021) and a Black Belt - Design for Six Sigma from Motorola, Inc (obtained in an unknown year of 2007).
