Pam Nelson

Vice President, Nursing & Care Management at Landmark Health

Pam Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pam began their career in 1998 as a Staff RN, where they provided comprehensive patient care in various surgical specialties. Pam then transitioned into the role of Perioperative Educator, developing and presenting educational instruction for perioperative departments. In 2007, they became a Nurse Manager, overseeing patient care services and staff development. From 2012 to 2014, they served as a Senior Education Specialist/Instructional Designer, specializing in Electronic Health Record implementation and utilization. Pam joined TriHealth in 2014 as the Director of Integrated Care Coordination, responsible for strategic planning and implementation of care coordination activities. In 2017, they joined UnitedHealth Group as a Senior Clinical Transformation Consultant, leading practice transformation and performance improvement initiatives. Currently, they are working at Landmark Health as the Vice President of Nursing & Care Management.

Pam Nelson completed their education in nursing with an Associates in Applied Science in Nursing from Raymond Walters College in 1989. Pam further pursued their Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Mount St. Joseph University from 2004 to 2006. Later, they obtained a Masters degree in Nursing Administration from Xavier University between 2006 and 2009. Pam also holds a certification as a Nurse Executive-Board Certified from the ANCC.
