Susanne Buckner

Joining the Construction Accounting Department in August of 2011, Susanne served as an Account Manager for two years and advanced into the role of Assistant Controller. Her main responsibilities are to audit and oversee the monthly draw process for the current projects as well as communicate with bank representatives, outside auditor and the investment partner to assure that draw packages are submitted within their guidelines and funding is received accurately and in a timely manner. Susanne is also responsible for the pre-development thru closing accounting as well as set up of new projects and assisting the CFO with cash flow and monthly financial reports.

Susanne, born and raised in a small town in Sweden, graduated with a degree in Economics/Accounting and moved to The United States and became a citizen. Susanne began her career in the collections department of a large health insurance company in Connecticut and moved to Georgia in 1991 where she has many years of experience heading up the accounting department of a Swedish company in Norcross. In 2004 Susanne and her family moved to Athens where she accepted a position as Office/Accounting Manager for a Residential/Commercial Builder and Property Manager.
