Sharon Putnam has a diverse and extensive work experience. Sharon began their career in 1994 as a Team Leader in AmeriCorps NCCC and went on to serve as a Youth Corps Manager in the Vermont Youth Conservation Corps from 1995 to 1997. Sharon then joined the Peace Corps as a Volunteer and Training Coordinator from 1998 to 2000. Following that, they worked as a Capital Campaign Manager at the Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts from 2000 to 2002.

In 2003, Sharon joined Monastery Heights Assisted Living as the Director of Sales Marketing, where they stayed until 2011. Sharon then transitioned to Landmark Senior Living Communities, where they held the position of Regional Director of Marketing/Operations from 2011 to 2016.
