Cody Hoerning

Cody Hoerning is an experienced research scientist currently employed at Land O'Lakes, Inc. since January 2022, where responsibilities include evaluating new products and nutritional practices through a digital phenotyping system. Prior experience includes serving as a graduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota, conducting multi-location experiments and analyzing data using R statistical software. Additionally, Cody worked as a neighborhood liaison, enhancing program outreach by coordinating community events and building stakeholder relationships. As an agricultural research consultant at CoverCress Inc., Cody designed on-farm research experiments and developed comprehensive research reports. Academic qualifications include a PhD and MS in Applied Plant Sciences from the University of Minnesota, with undergraduate studies in Agronomy and Crop Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
