Noel is the Founding Director of Farrer Huxley Associates, an award-winning design practice Noel founded in January 1995. Additionally, Noel currently serves as the President of the Landscape Institute, where Noel advocates for landscape architecture and placemaking. Noel also holds the title of Chair of Policy at the Landscape Institute, where Noel continues to advocate for the field.
