Paj Valley

Paj Valley currently serves as Urban Design Director and Midlands Design Lead at Stantec, beginning in July 2024. Concurrently, Paj Valley holds the position of Design Review Panel Champion at Design Midlands and is a Visiting Lecturer in the Architecture & Design Department at Birmingham City University since April 2012. In addition, Paj Valley has been involved with the Landscape Institute since April 1996, serving as Chair of the College of Fellows from 2010 to September 2018, among other roles. Paj Valley's recent experience includes a brief tenure as Masterplanning and Design Consultant at WSP in early 2024 and a role as Director of Design for Masterplanning, Landscape, and Urban Design at WSP from 2018 to 2023. Previous positions also include serving on the RTPI Chief Executive Sounding Board, as Director of Cities & Urbanism at Atkins, and as Technical/Design Director at Scott Wilson. Paj Valley began the career at Derek Lovejoy PLC, contributing to numerous award-winning projects. Educationally, Paj Valley holds a BA (Hons) in Landscape Architecture from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
