Roger Bjørnstad

Roger Bjørnstad has extensive work experience in the field of economics. Roger began their career at Statistics Norway in 1999, where they served as the Head of Macroeconomic Research for over a decade. In 2011, they joined Pöyry Management Consulting as a Principal Economist, and later became the Chief Economist at Samfunnsøkonomisk analyse in 2013. Currently, they hold the role of Chief Economist at The Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (LO) since 2017.

Roger Bjørnstad received their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from the University of Oslo (UiO) in the timeframe of 1993 to 1999.
