Colton Burgess

Colton Burgess is an experienced forestry professional currently serving as a Spatial Resource Analyst at LandVest since March 2017, where responsibilities include producing, procuring, and developing data to inform field and management decisions. Previously, Colton held the position of District Forester, coordinating harvest planning and silvicultural programs while ensuring compliance with various standards. Earlier roles at LandVest included Operations Forester and Forest Technician, where Colton planned timber harvest activities and conducted timber cruising and layout. Colton began the forestry career as a Seasonal Forest Technician at LandVest and worked as a part-time Sugar-bush Technician at University Forest. Colton earned a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Maine between 2010 and 2014.
