Kate Budd

Kate Budd is an accomplished professional in the field of human services with extensive experience in managing programs aimed at addressing homelessness and supporting community members. Currently serving as the Human Services Division Manager for Lane County Government since December 2021, Kate leads a team dedicated to enhancing community support systems. Previously, Kate held several key positions at the Council for the Homeless of Clark County WA, including Executive Director, where efforts focused on creating effective solutions to homelessness. Additional roles include Deputy Director for Clark County WA and Homeless Program Coordinator for the State of Oregon. Kate holds a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University and a degree in Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics from Eastern Oregon University.
